At Thomas a Becket C of E Federation we intend to create ambitious learners, building confidence in using appropriate scientific vocabulary. We encourage our children to be curious about the world. To explore ideas by developing scientific enquiry and investigative skills such as asking enquiring questions, predicting and analysing results. We focus on progression across the curriculum to build upon previous knowledge, skills and understanding. We aim to provide children with a lifelong love of learning about the world and exploring our unique school environment. The children will demonstrate an understanding of how science affects life today and in the future.
